Absalom TAYLOR

Was living in Franklin County by 1836. In the 1850 agricultural census for Franklin Co. Alabama there is an Absalum Taylor. He owned 50 ac. of improved land. 150 ac. of unimproved land. The initials "Sen." appear after his name. He was not a Senator from Alabama. It may just mean 'senior'. The cash value was $300 for the land, $10 for the implements, and $200 for the livestock. Absalom was sold or granted 40.13+ acres on December 6, 1836 in Franklin County, Alabama.
