Jill Carroll and the Media
Oh Please! - I swore I'd never create a blog but this was just too much and I had to do this. Come on people - what's with the media - and for those who believed the media - what's with YOU?
All those people crying about how Jill Caroll said so many bad things about the US and our involvement (and so on) and went on and on about it - OH PLEASE!
Only an idiot would think she was serious!
For God's sake - didn't you realize, like all the others who had been video taped before, that she was probably being threatened and treated who knows how badly? Yes - you would do it to, in order to stay in the captor's good graces and mostly - stay alive.
The poor woman endured a horrible ordeal - the least we could do is to give her a little credit and wait til she gets home. If I were there, there'd be no way I'd deny anything I said until I was safely on US ground - period.
And, if you'll remember, no one questioned any of the other captives' videos when they said similar things. So why now?
